Hi everyone, I´m sorry if you´ve seen a thread like this a hundred times, but I´ve been reading each and every thread on it and followed countless steps, after hours and hours I still can´t get syncthing to work.
Here´s my setup:
I´ve installed the Truecharts version and made the following configuration:
"BILDER" is a folder I created on BigData.
3001 is the syncthing user I posted above.
"Enable Host Path Safety Checks" is OFF.
Everything else is on default values.
I setup the sync process on my Windows machine, sharing this one folder with my TrueNAS server. It´s trying to sync, but the photos do not get transferred:
(sorry for German :)).
When I look into the folder BILDER on BigData, there is a 0 KB TMP-file for each photo. But no photo.
So it seems that syncthing actually has write permission on BigData, it´s just not writing the correct photos. I haven´t seen this behaviour on any other thread.
So please, help me out here before I pull all my hair out...
Here´s my setup:
- I have a 2 TB NVME drive (Stripe), that has the dataset "Applications"
- And multiple HDDs in RaidZ2 with the dataset "BIGDATA"
- BigData has an SMB share so I can access it via Windows (and an NFS share that was created following the suggestions on this forum)
- All apps are installed on the Applications dataset
- On BigData, there are folders for pictures, videos etc.
- BigData has users for basically everything, and they have Full Control enabled
- All I want is that the photo folder on my Windows machine is syncing with the photo folder on BigData
