TrueNAS Hangs importing pool

Trying to import an old pool on a fresh install. The import runs for several hours then the system hangs. This is the only console output I have:

After the reboot, and a few hours I get back to this. Stuck in a loop. Any help would be very appreciated.

I remember you from a previous thread, the Ironwolf drives where hanging on import.

If it hangs with the spa_deadman on import, that could mean your HBA or cables are having an issue; it seems to be flagging all of your vdevs as unresponsive, and the common branch there would be HBA first, maybe the PSU if it's undersized (how big is it driving eight disks?) or maybe the cabling, but it's two separate SAS breakouts so the likelihood of both failing at once is a long shot.

Can you pull SMART stats from the drives?

I'm going to try to run the SMART tests before it crashes again. In the mean time, after just letting it reboot after every hang the Pool is now showing in the list and show the scrub is (very slowly) making progress. I wonder if it truly might finish if I keep up this reboot every time it hangs? I'll post SMART when I can.

VeeamPool is the pool in question and has gotten to 21.99% completion in the scrub.

I remember you from a previous thread, the Ironwolf drives where hanging on import.

If it hangs with the spa_deadman on import, that could mean your HBA or cables are having an issue; it seems to be flagging all of your vdevs as unresponsive, and the common branch there would be HBA first, maybe the PSU if it's undersized (how big is it driving eight disks?) or maybe the cabling, but it's two separate SAS breakouts so the likelihood of both failing at once is a long shot.

Can you pull SMART stats from the drives?

It has dual power supplies, not sure the rating. I am working on it remotely. Here is a snap from IPMI:

What steps should I take to look at the HBA? All of the gear was purchased brand new less than a year ago and up until March 7th worked flawlessly 100% of the time.

What kind of case do you have? If it's a conventional "tower style" case you might not have sufficient cooling on the HBA.

Given that it seems to be dying under scrub, I'd start with checking the heatsink (use a thermometer if you have one, rather than burning a finger) to see if it's burning hot. I don't believe they have their own thermal sensors.
