Hello all, i installed new FreeNAS 11.2 yesterday and created my first pool and dataset what i would like to to sahre out to windows 10 PC using SMB shares. I think i have set all the permissions correctly but i still get permission denied in windows when trying to write to that shared folder.
Here are the steps by actions what i did:
1) Create new "guest" account and set Primary Group to guest.

2) Create new pool named VAULT and and set User as guest and Group as guest.

3) Create new dataset named MEDIA and set User as guest and Group as guest.

4) Add new Samba share and Allow Guest Access.

I can access the share on windows

but when i try to write anything to that folder i get permission denied error.

Can somebody help me with some troubleshooting step what to check or what did i do wrong when setting everything up.

I think i figured it out. All i had to do is set the Guest account to "guest" in SMB service options.
It was set to nobody before.
