Trouble installing plugins

I'm trying to install Plex Media Server and I'm getting this error

"requests.exceptions.ConnectionError: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='www.freebsd.org', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /security/unsupported.html (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.VerifiedHTTPSConnection object at 0x80ac7b940>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 8] hostname nor servname provided, or not known',))"

I get this error regardless of which plugin i'm trying to install. I'm running an up to date install of 11.2 stable.

Thanks for your response. I figured it out. It was the DNS server provided to me by my VPN provider or it was something to do with my Pfsense box. Anyway I disabled my VPN client and rebooted my Pfsense box and was able to connect.
