I can't seem to figure out how to increase the number of simultanous downloads I'm limited to 5 by default. There is no settings.json file in my transmission home directory. Is the parameter exposed anywhere else or do I need to create a new settings.json file.

Thanks

the file is in /var/db/transmission, what setting are you trying to edit?

I'm trying to change the download-queue-size parameter. Unfortunately if I modify it after restarting the plugin the settings.json is overwritten back to the default. Is it possible to expose this in the plug-in config?

it's because when you stop the plugin it saves the config to disk. either stop the plugin to edit it or run 'service transmission reload' after editing the config.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I wanted to change this as well, but did not know how or where to fine it. I have usually 60 downloads running (most stalled out, while others are waiting in que to download) and I always manually have to select the files and click resume now.)

And for other freebsd newbs out there. to edit the file type ee settings.json
Saves me having to look in google on how to edit a txt file in freebsd
