Help with JRuehlig Installation & Configuration of FreeNAS Plugins

I am working on this now, however I am having issues earlier :(

"pkg upgrade && pkg install git python2 py27-sqlite3 ffmpeg nginx"

I get this:
pkg: Repository FreeBSD has a wrong packagesite, need to re-create database
pkg: http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/freebsd:9:x86:64/latest/meta.txz: No address record
pkg: repository FreeBSD has no meta file, using default settings

I have no clue what's going on. I am so frustrated.

When I go to your page it doesn't serve a html doc. Trace appears to show no blockage. I have no clue what the problem is on my side, I just can't see your website in my browser.

do you have an old browser? my server only allows 2 SSL ciphers so not all browsers will work.

Thankyou so much for your blog and video on SABnzdb+sickrage+couchpotato+transmission setup on freenas. It has made it easier for a noob like me to follow on. I have followed all the plugin installation and code modification up to
"service transmission start && service sickrage start && service nginx start"
but my plugins now won't turn on. I had previously been able to access them (before deleting and following your guide). I also rebooted my NAS and toggled and refreshed the page to ensure it wasn't just the on/off toggle.

I have no idea what to do after this.

If I can get some help it would be much appreciated.

you should have turned on your plugins before running that command. usually they don't turn on from the FreeNAS webui because of networking issues with the jail.
from your jail can you ping other computers on your network? I also suggest editing your jail, disabling VIMAGE and assigning a network interface to it. then restarting your jail. this usually makes jail networking work more reliably

i don't know your network layout to know where your interfaces connect to.

I have noticed when a system has multiple network interfaces the jails/plugins have connectivity issues unless a specific one is assigned.

I don't think it should matter that much. I think I have the plugins started first because the sickrage and transmission config files need to be created first, but you could always edit these after.

couchpotato is already started, as shown by the output of the status command
you didn't run service when you tried to restart couchpotato. and if you want to restart it, you should use "restart" not "start"

why are you even running these commands, I don't have that on my blog?

I just saw another thread with it in to check that it was running, which it is, but the GUI won't open. i'm trying restart but it just hangs on

you can try force killing the pid with 'kill -9 54691' or restarting the jail.
