Dear all,
It has been a while I am trying to resolve this issue. At some point my TM backup stoped working, I recall TM suggested to re-create a backup from scratch.
Now every time I try to create a backup eventually I see:
"The backup disk needs 129,05 GB for the backup but only 1,04 GB are available. Select a larger backup disk or make the backup smaller by excluding files."
As for the setup:
- FreeNAS 11.3 Stable (latest)
- Data set has 1.46 TiB quota, read/write/execute permissions for User/Group
- SMB share has "Time Machine" option checked.
- I connect via a user which is a part of the corresponding group.
When I connect from a Finder, I definitely can delete the time machine backup bundle and/or create files, so write access is there.
I looked through multiple posts here and on Stackoverflow, but could not find a solution to my problem.
I would appreciate any help to dig to the bottom of the issue and hopefully get it resolved, as this is really annoying.
Sincerely,
Denis.
