The swap file is being used?

My freenas system has two HDDs.
The swap utilization graph shows as 3,2GB always free, never used.
Is this normal?

Hello Ismael,

Yes, this is normal. There is an option to disable it when you create your volume. It is not recommended, but people are asking for another solution because if you have enough RAM, swap will *probably* never get used. The only practical use for it now would be to help analyze a crash dump.
