Hi,
I'm just discovering TrueNAS, and I am trying to set up a test system, before building a final system.
For this purpose, I still have an older x86 PC, and also a Lian-Li EX-503. That is a 5-bay disk enclosure that I put in "port replicator" mode, so that all 5 disks are individually visible to the host. It's using a USB3 connection. When connecting to a Windows PC, I can see the 5 individual disks.
My plan was to create a pool with these 5 disks. However, TrueNAS doesn't see the 5 disks. I just sees one. They are shown in the booting process, but not in Storage/Disks (except for one). I get all kind of "multipath" errors, but I can see all 5 disks in Storage/Multipath. Meaning I can only create a pool with one disk.
Is this setup not supported? (I know it's not an ideal situation, RAID via USB, but it's just a test)
Thanks.
