Supermicro X8DTE-F bios

Is there an existing writeup detailing which bios settings on the Supermicro X8DTE-F - specifically regarding settings which are important for freenas? ...or do I need to walk through the settings and research each option?

You'd have to walkthrough each option, understand what it is for, and set it appropriately for your situation. BIOS settings sometimes change from one BIOS update to another, so trying to follow a guide is somewhat pointless unless you're matching hardware and BIOS revisions perfectly.

Gotcha. Thanks for the quick response. Do you know if supermicro releases any docs on the bios settings or if there's a generic doc which explains some of the more prevalent settings?

The manual is your best bet, I can't think of any special settings...I use the same board with dual CPUs but no special settings what so ever other the just the boot up to boot from one of my 2 SSDs mirrored via FreeNAS
