This device was installed by a previous employee who did not leave well and I was given his place so I apologize that I do not have much knowledge about it and have been unable to find the documentation or information pertaining to its specs. Connection to the device suddenly failed for everyone and I am getting the errors shown in the attached file.

The drive ada0 is likely dead. In my experience ada is usually assigned to a motherboard SATA port, if the machine wont boot at all its also likely one of your boot drives.

No problem, how to go about replacement of drives in freenas is well documented. If you have a config backup somewhere it will be fairly easy. If you don't it will be trickier. Possibly having to reinstall and reconfigure. I'll help if I can.
