Not sure if this is a defect, something I am doing wrong, or a change intentionally made with recent changes, but the configuration options between the Transmission plugin 2.82 and 2.84_2 differ. I am no longer able to set important options, such as the download location or encryption level required. I am running FreeNAS v9.3-STABLE-201506292332.

All options are still available from the transmission WebUI / remote GUI. I removed them from the freenas plugin menu because they were overwriting what was set in transmission.

I tried that at first, but setting options within the WebUI were lost upon restart of the plugin. How can I retain these settings? I am migrating from nas4free, so I'm sorry for the basic questions!

Does saving the FreeNAS configuration retain the FreeNAS plugin menu options? If it does, that would be an advantage of keeping these settings exposed.

what version of the plugin were your settings being reset?

In the latest version of the transmission plugin setting set from the transmission webui / remote interface are saved. The latest version only exposes settings that aren't available elsewhere so users don't have to use the command line to set them.

I was having issues with v2.84_2. I will try to reproduce / confirm the behavior I saw last night and report back.

I opened Chrome in Incognito mode to avoid cache and browser plugin issues. The Transmission plugin works as expected now, so there must have been some type of conflict. Regardless, thanks for confirming the expected behavior. Appreciate the help!

Glad to help. I do remember people having some issues with chrome and the transmission webui.
