Hello,
About a week ago I've received an SMART error message from one of my disks. After that I ran some smart tests (long and short) to determine if it was the same block.
Unfortunately it did. After that I've tried to "fix" it by doing a dd from /dev/zero to the specific block on the disk. After that I did a scrub on the pool to see if it errors/warnings and/or fixed the data. I've received no other notification or something so I assumed there was no data on that specific block. Therefore I assumed that everything was OK.
Strangely enough when I logged in to my NAS I saw some strange notifications at the little webgui terminal down at the webpage (don't know how to name it).
It seems like it encountered some read errors again but it doesnt mark that specific block as a bad block or something.
Normally I would assume that smartctl changes some raw smart values like reallocated sector count or the reallocated event count. In this case, it doesnt.... In this case, is it fixable or should I replace the disk? It's around 200 euro so it would be nice if I could save that.
Below are the important parts of the smartctl output. Thanks in advance for your help.
