Sonarr and Radarr Mono error: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED

Hey All,

After installing the community plugins Sonarr and Radarr I noticed I'm unable to fetch any results. I get "search failed". When looking in the logs I get similar Authentication Failed errors. I'm guessing there is an issue with the certificate being used. How can I resolve this?

If I go to Settings>General>Certificate Validation
and change that to Disabled it seems to work. Is that the only workaround?

Posted in response to a staff request, this is intended to help answer the "certificate is expired" issues. SSL underpins most network session security on the Internet. Historically, this was implemented with self-signed certificates (a bad idea), or through commercial certificate authorities...
