Hi all, it's been a while since I posted here. I have read so many threads about this error that they are starting to blend together.

I have this error in the gui and my email:
Code:
Device: /dev/da5 [SAT], 1 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors

I immediately ran a scrub which completed without error.

Code:
 pool: DEC01
state: ONLINE

I then ran a long smart test on the drive, which completed successfully.

Now, I am fairly certain that this drive is fine. Just in case, I have a couple backups on hand, but if I don't have to use them, then great.

My question is, how do I clear this error? It's starting to annoy me sitting there in Nagios. I tried zpool clear, but that did nothing.

Thanks for any help!

That file does exist. I tried renaming and moving it (to be safe), and it does not seem to have an effect. Then I tried deleting it and it does not clear the error.

Correction, I was a little to hasty. That has cleared the Nagios alert and the alert in the GUI. Thanks!
