unfortunately, this issue still persists with new 23.10.1 release and above solution neither works. I can assign nvidia gpu to apps, but no process shown in nvidia-smi

After a reboot in order to get my apps working again I need to follow the following steps.
  1. Stop all Apps using a GPU
  2. Settings > Advanced settings, Disable GPU support
  3. Settings > Advanced settings, Enable GPU support
  4. For each app that uses a GPU Edit and save the app
    1. If the App doesn't have GPUs available, Allocate 0 gpus and save
    2. Edit again and then Allocate 1 gpu
  5. Start all the apps that use GPU

Same behavior here. I find that I can skip steps 1, 4, and 5. But still need to disable/re-enable in advanced settings before the deploy(s) complete successfully. Using a discrete nvidia card.

Mild irritant, but thankfully don't need to reboot so often.

Does this apply to iGPU / quicksync on intel? I'm noticing I don't have an option to use "1" anymore only "0"
