So my Asrock C2750D4I died after 12 months. No POST. Has a 36 month warranty so it is going back.

So I am in the market for a replacement. Ideally the same form factor and with six or more SATA ports.

This seems to fit the bill. https://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/atom/A2SDi-8C-HLN4F.cfm

I know I will have to get new RAM which is a pain.

My main question is what sort of adapters do I need to make use of SATA ports 5 to 12.

The manual says

Twelve (12) SATA 3.0 ports (4 via ports, 8 via miniSAS HD)

Can someone enlighten me?

Or if you know of a good Mini-ITX board in DDR3 with six SATA ports. I get the feeling that all the DDR3 boards are at EOL.

Many thanks

Why are you buying a replacement when you could just get the warranty replacement

Because based on what I now know about the board in question I would fully expect it to die again in 12 months.

Based on returns I have made to the same retailer before I expect to get 2/3rds of the cost back.
