Snapshots AWOL

I've set up a periodic snapshot task. When setting it up I selected the mountpoint to be a dataset (the only dataset in the pool). The GUI is saying that I have three snapshots available but when I look in the dataset I can't see anything. I've tried through CIFS and through the console.

What am I missing? Where are my snapshots being stored?

It won't work through CIFS unless you use a version of Windows that supports "Previous Versions". You can however get to the files from the console. The snapshots are in a directory called ".zfs" inside the dataset root. Note: You will *not* see this directory but it is there when you try to "cd" into it.

Thanks. I can now see the snapshots. I don't need windows previous version as I use allwaysync which is more flexible.
