Hi all,
I'm using freenas 8.0 to export some zfs dataset via iscsi to an esxi server.
Now i would like to schedule a periodic snapshot of those dataset but i have some question.
1-Where the snapshots will be located? if it will be located on the same dataset I'm "snapshotting" may i change the destination?
2-there is a way to eventually browse the snapshots for a single file restore, for example if i would revert a single vm in the datastore (which is defined in the dataset) i should be able to revert only the vmdk etc..files for that VM. From the Gui I've seen only the possibility to revert the entire dataset from the snapshot!
