No, there is no pending, uncorrectable or reallocated sectors so the drive is ok ;)

However there is some UDMA CRC errors and these are errors usually because of bad cable/connector. I don't know if this value is acceptable and just because of some vibrations at some point, or if it's a bad cable/connector. I'll search on that because now I'm curious to know :p

Edit: ok, from this topic it's what I thought: if there is some errors here or there it's not a big deal, but if this value rise continuously then you should worry ;)

That hardware ECC recovered concerns me, but it could very well be Seagate's opaque (to put it mildly) encoding.

They encode their rates (like the raw read error rate) with something in the most significant bits and something different in the least significant bits, with at least one of them apparently being on a log scale.

The only way to have some measure of certainty of certainty is to stress it as much as is reasonable during burn-in and seeing if everything is working correctly.

That's a relief.
This new drive is just the second Seagate product I've purchased, the first died way to early almost two decades ago.
I guess Western Digital and Seagate differ in their SMART reporting because I've got some really old
WD1001FALS black drives that have no raw error readings of any kind after 17,000 hours in a desk top.

I'm gonna stress the heck out of it daily
while I'm at work and then again when I go to sleep. The new 6TB drive is a back up drive for all the files on my Freenas box.
My Freenas box is a backup of the family media files, so the Seagate is just a bit of insurance, so if it takes a
dump, it's really no big deal. I'll stop freakin' out now about those numbers.
Thanks to both of you for your comments and feedback :D
