This is my first FreeNas build and it is working great but when I click on the dashboard the Memory, CPU Temps and SPU usage take a while to populate. Is this normal? It also does not seem to be giving out network

I have this in a super micro chassis with an Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2603 v4 @ 1.70GHz (6 cores) and 32GB of ram.

Regards,
Josh

I found part of the problem... Clock speed makes a difference. You would be much better served with a 2.8 or faster clock. Not saying it won't run, but it is going to be slow. I sure wish you would have asked before you bought this.

The speed of the NAS itself does not seem slow. It is only the dashboard. I could have when with something like this instead Intel Xeon E5-1620 V4 Broadwell-EP 3.5 GHz.

What tool is recommended for testing the read and write speeds of the NAS.

Josh
