Slow Cloud Sync Upload

We have a cloud sync task set up to sync data to a Backblaze B2 bucket. In the dataset being backed up, there are primarily VM disk files along with snapshots. We are seeing ridiculously slow upload speeds. Somewhere in the neighborhood of a few hundred bytes to a few hundred kbytes. Network transfer speed is close to line speed. And when we run a cli internet speed test from TrueNAS, we are seeing close to the rated numbers. Any thoughts on what to look for?

I am having a similar issue. Did you ever figure this out? I have one pool with just some document storage syncing to a B2 bucket and it is maxing out at exactly 2.758 Mb/s and just sitting there. I have a standard fiber line and typically my machines get about 500 - 600 mb/s when i run a speed test.
