There's a new backup software out there called "Kopia" which is particularly nice for B2 style backups to a bucket.
I kind of like it but I must admit I'd prefer to just use the Cloud Sync tasks, meaning I don't need a desktop to manage my backups.
One of the things Kopia does, which the CST's don't, is zstd compression of the files on the upload. It saves backup space on the destination, saving money as well as saves upload bandwidth.
Is there any chance of this being added to the cloud sync tasks in TrueNAS? Anyone got any ideas?
(Happy to put in a feature request at the official bugtracker if people think it's worth my time?)
