Silverstone ECS04 SAS/SATA CARD

Hi All , i seeking some advice and guidance and any information will be of assistance.
I am rebuilding my current freenas 9.10 Server today and moving over to Truenas Core.
The question is around the current sas/sata HBA i have purchased.
Question 1: Do i require to flash this HBA Card to IT Mode

Yes, you need the card to be in IT mode. What type of card do you have?

I don't know much about them unfortunately but it should be capable of getting flashed to an LSI equivalent.

Yep that is the Card i purchased - Silverstone ECS04. Not finding much resources on Web around this specifc card.

Hi can you tell me how do did that? I have tried but the card just errors when trying to update the firmware.

"Chip is in RESET state. Attempting Host Boot...
ERROR: Firmware Host Boot Failed !"
