HI All,
I have searched and read through the various threads with similar errors.

Yet, I feel a little uneasy as these are from 5 brand new (WD40EFRX) drives I installed over the weekend.

Code:
notifications_active

CRITICAL

Device: /dev/da4 [SAT], Self-Test Log error count increased from 1 to 2.

2022-01-09 11:35:40 (Europe/Vienna) notifications_active

CRITICAL

Device: /dev/da5 [SAT], Self-Test Log error count increased from 1 to 2.

2022-01-09 11:35:40 (Europe/Vienna)

The increase from 1 to 2 is probably due to me running smartctl -x /dev/daX [X being drive number].

Am wondering if this could be the DELL PERC H310 controller itself?

Any assistance/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

regards,

PDM

To get help for whatever your similar problem is, please post the system information requested in the Forum Rules, the error message that you have, and the full results of a long smart test on the drive on which you have reported problems.

I am having a similar issue I think. I have attached a file with the details. I could use some guidance on this.
