SAS cabling (forward vs reverse breakout)

I hope this is the right thread to post my SAS conudrums. I bought my motherboard to use the LSI3008 as a SATA HBA, And then promptly forgot to by Breakout cables. (for some reason, the need had eluded med. Live and learn, I guess. Now My issue is ; I have no clue what cables I need to get. would these work? What is the diffrence?
