A simple question for minio users. If you are a S3 minio user it is much appreciated and thank you in advance.
I have ~2 billion files -about 1PB of data- in my inventory (spread across multiple servers). I want to setup a TrueNAS core (or Scale) system as an S3 target. I am looking at Duplicati and Nakivo as long term cold data alternatives.
Does minio (S3) have any specific requirements as to memory or cores on TrueNAS? Do I need a ton of horsepower for an S3 target? Assuming a maximum 10g interface (and mostly 1gig) and only used as a nightly target?
Recommendations?
