Hi there,

I am having hard time trying to install 8.0.1 RC1. It installs fine on usb drive (8 gb drive) but fails to boot once the CD is removed. I get the following error:

Root mount waiting for: usbus2
Trying to mount root from ufs:/dev/ufs/FreeNASs1a
Root mount error

Same computer used to run FreeNAS 7 without problems. Computer is around 7-8 years old.

I have tried to do the following:

1. Change USB drive
2. Install FreeNAS 8.0
3. Succesfully Install and boot Ubuntu from the same usb drive
4. change "this is Pnp OS" in bios to no and then back to Yes
5. Plugging USB drive in another usb slot

and that is about everything I could think of. At the beginning of booting process it outputs the following message

mptable_probe: MP config table has bad signature 2C

Whatever that means. It might be important, I don't know

I don't really know much about FreeBSD or Linux so if anybody is willing to help should be patient with me :)

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks
