Required to VNC to Bhyve VM otherwise will not start on its own

Everytime Freenas restarts for a reboot, or just to restart a virtual machine I have to VNC to that virtual machine before it will start. Is this a known problem? I cannot find anything on this googling. See screenshot.


This happened in Freenas 11 with various updates , and now most recently with 11.1

Do you have "wait to boot" checked in the VM's vnc device?

I do.. thats crazy I guess thats enabled by default never noticed that before.
