wifi isn't built for speed it is built for convenience. The best you can do is eliminate things that cause problems. Make sure you are close to the wifi access point, make sure there are no walls between you and it. Make sure there are not lots of people using it and also make sure there are no other wifi networks in range. Then verify that you have AC compatibility and are using it correctly with proper encryption and channel width. After all this you can't be sure you are going to get good bandwidth. So to solve your wifi problem i suggest plugging in an ethernet cable. ;)
