One interesting reporting observation; the CLI reports
Code:
scan: resilver in progress since Mon Jan 1 09:01:18 2018
450G scanned out of 17.4T at 384M/s, 12h52m to go
		89.8G resilvered, 2.52% done

a rate of 384MB/s, but looking at the disks:

(da0,1,2,3 are basically identical to da6) where da7 is the target, it shows a max write-rate of 110MB/s - so how does the 384MB/s get calculated? Is that the total read-rate (averaged, of course) of the 5 source drives, rather than the total transfer rate? We're clearly bound by da7

update; all is going well; 3 drives resilvered; it's a 36-hour cycle each time due to these being brand new drives, I'm running a long smartctl test on each, then have to resilver; should be done by Sunday or so... then to expand into the new space.

Yes, it's a read rate (... scanned ... at xxx M/s ...) ;)
