SOLVED RAM recommendation for 5-6x6TB WD Red

I'm really new to FreeNAS and have a beginner-question.

I've read in a german computer magazine that ZFS uses 1GB Ram for every TB HDD.
Now I want to build a nice NAS to play around @ home.

How much RAM does a RAID-Z2 config need? Should I build it a little smaller? :D

Minimum of 8gb. Forget the 1gb per 1tb mantra

Personally I think 32gb is the sweet spot for home servers
