Question about Pending Update and Check update

Hello
when i go to system and then update in the field Pending Updates is nothing written.
if i do press the [check now] button it will show be some update. the selected Train is FreeNAS-11-STABLE.

Why is this are this with Check Now just minor update or a why to install nightly updates?

That is correct. Pending update means you downloaded it but do not intend to apply it yet. In other words, updates will only appear there if you have unchecked Automatically check for updates and then clicked Check Now and an update was downloaded.

so if i don't puch the [check now] Button i will never get a information there would be updates available?

on Corral i alway saw there is a new Update available

It won't show there, but you will get an alert and an email.
