Just got the email with the details that after October 22, 2018 CrashPlan for home will not be supported. More info at https://www.crashplan.com/en-us/consumer/nextsteps/
I was curious about this too.. I've only got till november.<rant>
Blargh! My subscription ends in October, but I can't renew it. All of you that renewed before today, be thankful you have a year. With the "free" 2-month extension, I only have 4 months.

Interesting, but since i have Mac (veeam do not seems to support mac) to backup as well here what i am planing :For an alternative, I backup all my PCs to freeNAS with Veeam Agent for windows/linux. Then, I push monthly fulls to google's cold storage with rclone (installed in a freebsd jail on the freeNAS box). Veeam Agent and rclone are free so you only have to pay for the cold storage, which, is quite cheap for offsite DR.
Bacula is a different tool and it has steep learning curve. How about Bacula? Anyone using it instead of Crashplan?
