Proper Way to Migrate Away from SAS Multipath

Hello. First I apologize if I am misunderstanding things. I am a home user, and not up to speed on all of the storage technologies. I have tried to attach the proper supporting documentation. I have been running the following system since 2018:

FreeNAS 2U Certified Server: 12 x 3.5" SAS Drives - Dual Expanders
Currently running: TrueNAS-13.0-U5.3

Recently I decided I needed to upgrade my storage, so I purchased 6 10TB drives to replace my 6 2TB drives. These drives are configured as 3 mirrored VDEVs. When the system originally came these drives were all set up as 6 multipath disks. As I understand multipath support is being deprecated in both TrueNAS Core and Scale. This should be fine because multipath is more trouble than it is worth (for me anyway). I was able to replace a drive, the resilver completed and the pool status is no longer degraded. My concern, however, is that the new drive serial number is still showing up under "Disks" as not part of the pool. It seems that the second device name (da#) for the drive shows up as if it is not part of the pool. For example:

New drive serial # VH0N3NWM shows up as da0 and da6. When I replace the drive that was removed with da0, the replacement works fine, but da0 disappears from the "Disks" page and da6 is still there with "N/A" under the "Pool" column (see attached screen shots).

I would like to make sure that I am doing this properly, and am not at risk for corrupting the pool. I would prefer that the drives do not show up as "N/A" in the UI, but that is of secondary concern. Any assistance would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks!
