Hi there,
I have a problem with a disappearing zraid configuration. I have a freenas server (8.02-RELEASE-amd64 (8288)) based on a asrock e350m/USB3 motherboard and 3 Samsung HD204UI. The problem I have is that after a restart the server runs for 1 or 2 days and then the zraid disappears and running ftp sessions get suck. the ftp server crashes and the server doesn't even reboot any more (ends with something like: "some services could not be killed"). I have to do a hard reboot then.
I get a lot of these errors:
kernel: xptioctl: pass driver is not in the kernel
kernel: xptioctl: put "device pass" in your kernel config file
and dmesg showed me also these errors:
ahcich0: Timeout on slot 6 port 0
ahcich0: is 00000000 cs 000001c0 ss 000001c0 rs 000001c0 tfd 80 serr 00000000
ahcich0: AHCI reset: device not ready after 31000ms (tfd = 00000080)
with varying slot numbers
Does anybody know how I can "repair" this?
Thanks,
Roger
