first of all, i would like to apologize if my english isn't good. Then i have a few questions about FreeNAS as i'm approaching to this wonderful world.
- I've installed FreeNAS 9.2 x86 on an old PC just to start being friendly with those things. I attached via USB (i know, it's an orrible choice, but it's the only way) a 3TB Seagate hard drive. I tried everything, but it's still displaying only 721GB as free space. i tried ZFS, UFS, Quick Wipe, Full Wipe, formatting from Windows, from Linux, from Gparted... i don't know what else to do. Are there problems with GPT disks? Am i wrong in something? it's an x86 limit?
- Is there any way to install OpenVPN server on an x86? i saw that for x64 version there are a lot of plugins instead x86 version...
thanks in advance for those who will try to help
