Hello,
I'm running on FreeNAS 9.2 and use the Powercom IMPERIAL UPS (2009 model, with PID=0x0002). NUT can communicate with this UPS via powercom (requires 'usbserial' kernel module) driver (from compatibility list on the NUT's site).
When I connect the UPS to the USB - the FreeNAS detect it
freenas kernel: ugen0.4: <POWERCOM Co.,LTD> at usbus0
but NUT is don't start with this port (ugen0.4)
I've tried to install the Ubuntu instead of FreeNAS on my hardware, and the UPS has been detected by NUT. But Ubuntu have usbserial module which attach my UPS to /dev/ttyUSB0 device. As I understand, the FreeNAS haven't the usbserial module in the kernel.
How to add/enable usbserial.ko in FreeNAS?
