I recently did a fresh install of FreeNAS 9.3 and imported my previous config from an upgraded 9.2-9.3. Now when I go to install a plugin, I get "expected expression, got '<' ". Any ideas on what's going on here?
A reboot has resulted in the "expected expression, got '<' " returning. When I execute "ping -c 5 download.freenas.org" it returns "ping: cannot resolve download.freenas.org: Host name lookup failure"
In the console menu, I'm getting the following where 192.168.1.1 is my router gateway:
Code:
Feb 21 15:55:16 freenas smbd[11098]: STATUS=daemon 'smbd' finished starting up and ready to serve connectionsmatchname: host name/name mismatch: 192.168.1.1 != (NULL)
Feb 21 15:55:16 freenas smbd[11098]: [2015/02/21 15:55:16.047672, 0] ../source3/lib/util_sock.c:1199(get_remote_hostname)
Feb 21 15:55:16 freenas smbd[11098]: matchname failed on 192.168.1.1
He probably means he put the IP addresses of Google's free DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) in the first two name server fields of the Network | Global Configuration tab.
