Plex UI can't see mounted storage

When I try to add a folder, it defaults to /var/db/plexdata/Plex Media Server. There is no hard drive icon. If i manually type the path I mounted, such as /media/movies, Plex can find my media and add it.

Does Plex have permission to read that path?

Also post the required information. Hardware specs, freenas version, log messages and errors.

Plex is running as the media user, which is the owner of the folder.
