Plex stuck on deploying after upgrade of angelfish 22.02.4 -> bluefin

as those that might have followed noticed... i upgraded/migrated my TrueNAS core to Scale one thursday, that then required me to redeploy Plex, I deployed the official TrueNAS SCALE app.
I wanted to get access to Truechats and discovered that the new/current version is not compatible with angelfish so instructed a upgrade to bluefin.
upgrade went smooth... Plex is stuck on Deploying .

note, the storage used by plex was simply in the storage options of plex pointing it to my Pool/dataset location where the media all is.
getting told there was some breaking changes in TrueNAS bluefin as far as storage is concerned ?

how do i get around this... without having to reload/rebuild my PMS ?

fixed for now using the naughty way... disabled hostpathvalidation.
