Plex server will not respect scheduled task times.

Like above says, scheduled tasks are not following their settings and running at in opportune/high usage hours. I have them set to run from Midnight to 7am however, they are running from 4pm to 11pm. I have tried changing the hours to see if that reflects tthe 4-11 with no luck. Running FreeNAS 9.10 and latest Plex plugin.

I have run Plex on on Win Server 2k12 and most recently on a Debian box with zero issues. Now I switched to FreeNAS and it does not want to cooperate.

Anybody have any tips/tricks? I have tried restarting the plugin & server with no luck as well as modify the scheduled task settings. I am a Linux guy myself, so anything outside of the GUI in FreeNAS in a BSD environment is a learning curve so bare with me!

Fix the time on your jail?

That was one of the first things I checked running date, and I even reset all the time data in the jail just to be sure with no luck. It matches host system time.

Any logs? Plex Media server logs would be nice. Do the time stamps in the logs match the real time. Any errors?

I tried sifting through it. it looks like all the tasks, per the log timestamps are happening at the times they should be. The server timezone is based on KST (Asia/Seoul) so I thought maybe it was going off of UTC/GMT but 4pm here is 7am UTC/GMT.

When I SSH and jexec into the jail to run date, the time printed and timezone is correct. However, when I use the download logs button from Plex settings, they logs are stamped at midnight as opposed to 4pm (which is the current time as I post this).

Quiet literally just figured it out a few hours ago with last night being the test run. Just deleted the jail, updated my timezone on my Plex account (not server, just online which set to UTC, which wasnt the time it was going off of), then reinstalled the plugin. Not really sure which part was the solution but it ran last night during the prescribed hours without hiccup.
