Please help about syslogd

Dear community,
could you please explain me which is the syslogd who starts with freenas?

Code:

[root@freenas] ~# find / -name syslogd
/usr/sbin/syslogd
/etc/rc.d/syslogd
/conf/base/etc/rc.d/syslogd

I'm asking that because I have to change the syslogd configuration (after openin the FS as RW) but I don't know which syslogd starts and I don't know which config to change.

Etc/r c.d is currently in use.. The conf / etc is pulled on startup.. Change at your own risk.. You can see what I did with minirsyslog on my forum profile..

Chaning of files like this is unsupported and not recommended. You can do so, but it entirely at your own risk.
