Permissions on FreeNAS share "You need permission to perform this action"

Hello. I installed the FreeNAS server and created the share. I mapped a drive to the share. When I try to copy files to the share or create folders I get the " You need permissions to perform this action".

I check the box for Group / Write when editing the user but the option does not stick. It is unchecked when I go back in and edit the user.

Windows is weird when it comes to permissions, after you make a change make sure you log out of windows and wait a couple min for the windows side of things to update.
there is a video on youtube that Lawrence systems explains everything you need to know and how to deal with SMB shares inside of windows.
