I recently had my USB that the FreeNAS OS is installed on become corrupted causing the error this is a freeNAS datadisk on start up. I double checked my boot order and even forced boot to the USB and it did not start up. Unfortunately I did not have a backup or mirror of the configuration. I went ahead and replaced it with a new USB with a fresh copy of FreeNAS installed on it. I was able to successfully import my old pool however I am unable to correctly share the old folders I had created and put files in via SMB. I only get the root folder and can not enter it and get no windows errors. I can see the subfolders when I attempt to create a new SMB share in the FreeNAS web portal so I assume the data is still there. Any thoughts on how I may regain access to this data?

I ended up finding an old configuration file and am now able to reconnect.
