That would suggest the attribute dropped back to 0, disk looks fine for now, run an extended SMART test and keep monitoring the disk.

Are you sure your ran that smart command on the right drive? We could tell if you hadn't truncated the terminal output.

I didn't think it was possible for it to revert back to 0 without a trace. Running SMART long now.

Are you sure your ran that smart command on the right drive? We could tell if you hadn't truncated the terminal output.
I am, but I've checked all of them just in case. I haven't set up ssh access yet and the web GUI shell cuts off the output.

SMART long test completed without errors so all seems good. I had hoped to have more of a "set and forget" experience with this NAS, but so far it has required tinkering on a regular basis. All data remained safe and available, though, so that is good.
