Nvidia Drivers Not Responding

Hey everyone. TrueNas noob that needs some help. I am trying to set up a VM on the latest Scale version and do a GPU passthrough to it. When I try to start to VM with the GPU the VM crashes. I ran nvidia-smi and got NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

I'm using a Nvidia Tesla P4 which I have seen people using almost a year ago. TrueNAS sees it and I am able to isolate it successfully. Does anyone have any advice on this?
