Not recognize NIC (VIC 1225) Cisco UCS

When I install FreeNAS on a C240M3 everything goes great, until I finish setup. When I go to configure the network, there is no network adapter. If I install esxi or anything else on it, I have NIC's. Anyone else having this problem?

What's the ethernet chipset in use? If it isn't Intel, it's not that likely to work well, and if it isn't on the FreeBSD HCL, it isn't expected to work at all.

I know the Cisco VIC's are supported in ESXi, but I don't know about FreeBSD. Chelsio is the 10/40Gb NIC of choice for FreeNAS, and that is what I use in both of my bare metal FreeNAS boxes running on C240 M3's. What do you get from a pciconf -lv?
