yea its a micro ATX only 2 slots DDR2, i just put in my newer AMD gigabyte board and freenas is running flawless no problems at all, thanks for all the replys

Just a heads up, your new board probably has realtek nic and no ecc memory. Not having these things can lead to problems but since it seems to be running good enough for you then it should be fine. Have fun with your system.
