I have an AsRock C2550

..and have recently bought a new router with Gigabit Lan but with this router I get the "No configured interfaces found" msg instead of an IP-Adress. Although I did try doing sone research I'm unable to find a solution to this.

Typing "ifconfig" give me this in return.

igb0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST,> metric 0 mtu 1500
options=403bb<RXCSUM,TXCSUM,VLAN_MTU,VLAN_HWTAGGING,JUMBO_MTU,VLAN_HWCSUM,TS04,TS06,VLAN_HWTSO>
ether d0:50:99:c0:ea:5b
inet 192.168.0.102 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.0.255
nd6 options=9<PERFORMNUD,IFDISABLED>
media: Ethernet autoselect (1000baseT <fullduplex>)
status: active

igb1:

nd6 options=9<PERFORMNUD,IFDISABLED>

lo0: flags=8049<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 16384

inet6 ::1 prefixlen 128
inet fe80::1%lo0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x3
inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000
nd6 options=21<PERFORMNUD,AUTO_LINKLOCAL>

I can access the Megarac SP site (192.168.0.103) through another PC on the network but can't get to Freenas through the browser..

I guess it detects something but how do I proceed?

Thanks for any help...

How about you start at the beginning and tell us all your hardware, what version of FreeNAS you are using, is this a new install or was it previously working and now stopped. Provide us some details.

If this previously worked then I'd turn on DHCP on your new router. Next I'd reconfigure FreeNAS for a static IP address, but that's just me.

It stopped working when I plugged in this new router (bought it to get Gigabit lan speeds...)

Router: TPLink Archer C5

NAS:

FREENAS - 9.10.1 U4
ASRock Rack C2550D4I
16GB RAM -> 2x 8GB Sticks of DDR3 1600 ECC Crucial (CT102472BD160B.18FED)
2 x Intel NIC i210
2x HGST DESKSTAR NAS 4TB 7200rpm

DHCP is turned on.

Freenas is shown in the webinterface of the browser with the IP adress 192.168.0.102
BUT

I can' t access freenas and on the Freenas machine itself i get: (now it doesn't show the original msg (No configured interfaces found) anymore)

You may try the following URLs to access the wev user interface:

http://192.168.0.101
http://192.168.0.102

freenas dhclient[1449]: send_packet: host is down

All your problems are in the router setup. I don't have that model so I can't help you much. It looks like a firewall issue. This is not a FreeNAS issue so you might need to go to a forum for your router to get proper help.

Good Luck!

Let's start by getting rid of one of those connections. You only need one, and 2 is doing more harm than good. Unplug one of them.

I only had one cable connected. That was the weird part...

This has been resolved. Restarted Freenas and the router a couple times and it suddenly worked like it has before...
